Client Services Specialist

Acura of Libertyville, a multi-year Precision Team Award-winning dealership is currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual with positive customer service/retail experience, telephone skills and good interpersonal skills to serve as our Client Services Specialist. We are currently seeking one Client Services (Sales) representative and one Client Services (Service) representative.

The goal of the Client Services (Sales) position is to assist the Client Services Manager in managing activity related to sales leads and ensure customers receive timely and proactive contact throughout their purchase process.

The goal of the Client Services (Service) position is to assist the Client Services Manager in managing activity related to service follow up, appointment setting, recall notifications, maintenance scheduling, and satisfaction calls to ensure customers receive timely and proactive contact throughout their ownership experience.

The Client Services (Sales) position is responsible for handling inbound sales inquiries for new and pre-owned vehicles, setting and confirming appointments, providing general information, making outbound calls regarding various customer care protocols such as follow up on missed appointments, assisting in preparation of activity reports and analysis for the Sales Department, and other related tasks.

The Client Services (Service) position is responsible for handling inbound service calls to set appointments, follow up on service work performed, contact clients in the event of a missed appointment or reschedule, follow up on declined service work, and assist in preparation of activity reports and analysis for the Service Department, and other related tasks.


- Be available to respond to email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner

- Assist customers with appropriate information prior to their arrival at the dealership

- Conceptualize and understand the psychology of internet customers and work with them accordingly to set appointments for a proper vehicle demonstration

- Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet- Promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM and effectively utilize lead management tools

- Assist customers visiting our website via online chat

- High volume outbound and inbound phone calls

- Creating appointments for guests

- Learning about customer needs while building rapport

- Completing follow-up tasks on daily activities, contact lists, and campaigns

- Prioritize effectively

- Demonstrate a sense of initiative to prioritize appropriately and move through tasks efficiently and address business needs as they arise

- Represent the company as a highly visible customer service representative, both internally and externally

- Perform other duties and projects as assigned or responsibilities dictate



- High school diploma or equivalent

- Call Center, Retail, or Customer Service experience

- Excel at interacting with customers

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

- Experience handling inbound/outbound sales calls

- Excellent telephone skills

- Proven history of inside sales, internet marketing and/or scheduling sales appointments

- Ability to instantly build rapport with clients

- Superb communication skills, both verbal and written

- Professional demeanor and the ability to face rejection without losing momentum

- Superb customer service skills with the proven ability to resolve customer service issues

- Detail-oriented

- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office

- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Clear, concise, polished verbal and written communication skills

- Google Docs familiarity/experience a plus

- VinSolutions CRM experience a plus, but not required

Job Requirements

- Team oriented

- Submit to and successfully complete MVR (driving record) and background check

- Valid driver's license with good driving record


- Full time or Part Time

- Varied schedule including a mix of mornings, afternoon, evenings, and Saturdays the dealership is closed on Sundays
